So, I know that we had discussed a bit about having a different sort of gift exchange thing. I really like the secret santas idea, but i'm not sure how to pull it off. in the way of other games go, i have scoured the internet and i just can't find anything that seems as interesting. So... I think we might just need to stick with robber bingo. gotta love the classic. i'm gonna try to come up with a way to do secret santa's tho. the real problem with it is having everyone choose a name. the only way i know of doing that is in person. so if anyone has any creative solutions to that, lemme know.

oo i think i just thought of one. and i think i'm gonna do it.

I'm gonna write everyone's name on a slip of paper. then i'm just going to randomly put them in envelopes, address one envelope to each person and send them out. that way its secret! hooray!

so be looking for that in the mail everyone!

I don't get the point of the secret santa thing since I'm going to get a gift for everyone anyway. What's the deal?

Also, shouldn't everyone agree on this first?

How about Christmas caroling in whatever neighborhood we are (that used to be fun and I'll be Evan would enjoy it)
OR
Charades...we could quickly review the standard motions (sounds like etc) and we could have teams (mixed up ages)
OR
Pictionary which I've never played but Laura says it fun
OR
Somekind of round robin card game.
THIS IS ALL ASSUMING THAT WE, THE G'S, WILL BE THERE Very Happy

i like the charades/pictionary ideas. but i still say we should try a massive killer bunnies game. that has discernable winners, and the carrot pile could be prize-linked so that everyone wins. those of you who've played will understand the possibilities here.

So it sounds like maybe we should just decide on the fly, based on what everyone feels up for? There are a lot of good ideas on here, but I'm sure everyone doesn't read them, so short of doing phone call polls, there's no way to really decide. So do we want to just have everyone bring some sort of little gift and then we'll decide that day what we want to do with them? I mean, if it come down to everyone not wanting to sit through something drawn out like killer bunnies or robber bingo, I found a quickish gift exchange game that is basically just drawing cards and stealing gifts. Does this sound ok to those on here? The idea of just deciding later, that is...
lemme know.
